Zhoumeng Lin’s, associate professor in the department of environmental and global health, lab develops advanced computational tools to study the effects of chemicals, nanoparticles, and drugs on human and animal health, aiming to improve health safety and risk assessment. Using techniques like artificial intelligence, machine learning, physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) and quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) modeling, they’re focusing on areas like nanomedicine and food safety to support health decisions for people, animals, and the environment.
