Dr. Baker’s student wins 3rd place for the Graduate Student Excellence Award

Emma VanderMeulen, a student of Dr. Tracie Baker won 3rd place at Society of Toxicology for Regulatory and Safety Evaluation Specialty Section (RSESS). Her project was on pharmaceuticals and personal care products in the environment. The study location was in southeast Michigan in the Lake Huron to Lake Erie corridor and they explored what PPCPs were in water and fish samples. The RSESS award is given to students presenting in subjects applicable to regulatory toxicology or safety evaluations.
